SYMPOSIUM MANIFESTO
The first edition of MATH (Mobile and Assistive Technology for Healthcare) proposes to be an aggregator for multidisciplinary research and scientific challenges in the Healthcare Technology domain. The essence of this mini-symposium lies mainly in its multidisciplinary nature and the technology applied to healthcare is the backbone of this multidisciplinarity.
The main topic of MATH 2016 is “ICT applied for mobile healthcare and wellbeing”.
Particularly, MATH 2016 has the aim to focus different scientific works dealing with four main components: patient safety, prevention and health management and wellbeing.

Cristiana is the Chief of “Research & Development” Business Unit of Gruppo SIGLA. Currently her main research activity particularly deals with mHealth, eHealth, Internet of Things (IoT) and Users’ experience. Teacher of several courses in the area of “Automatic Control” and “Automated Manufacturing", supervisor of several Laurea Thesis, she was consultant of several companies. She is member of the Scientific and Technical Board of TRANSIT Pole, and member of the Steering Committee of SIIT PMI District.
Maurizio Caon is currently a PostDoc researcher in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland and is Director of Design and Innovation at the HumanTech Institute. His research domains are in the area of computer science: Activity Recognition, Gesture Recognition, Augmented Reality, Ambient Intelligence, Human Computer Interaction, Next Generation Networks (IP Multimedia Susbsystem) and Image Elaboration and Protection.
